After VivoCity I continued my way up to Mt. Faber, which was only a couple of hundred meters away, both vertical as horizontal. After a climb of about 10 minutes I reached the top which gave a spectacular overview of a part of the city. I created a panorama photo from all photos I have shot at the top which you can see just below. Click on it to have a more panoramic view. (^.^)

After climbing to the top of Mt. Faber I continued following the paths of the nature area which is called "Southern Ridges". The "Southern Ridges" are multiple smaller areas of governmental subsidized parks, which are interconnected. And when I mean interconnected, I mean really connected by all means; a bridge of 25 meters high (it was elevated 83 meters above sea level, but I can not imagine the bridge itself being that high!), a treetop walk of 3 kilometers and some artificial nature just to connect two subsequent parks.
In total I have walked through 3 parks, which was a walk of about 10 kilometers (and I already walked a few kilometers as I walked to Holland Village). I was somewhat exhausted after finally reaching the bus stop to bring me back to Clementi MRT, but the nature was beautiful.

liefs,
Marijke
