Jurassic Park ride

Tatatada tatada tatada... Jurassic Park theme... one of the most famous movie themes, as everyone how has seen the movie can recall it in an instance! (^.^)
In Jurassic Park the where three attractions, one for which you had to pay extra (on top of your 66 SGD entrance fee) which allowed you to climb against a high wall. The other was a canopy swing coaster, which was very short and I mean very short. In 30 seconds the coaster was already back where it began. The only fun part was the fact that the cars could move freely based on the forces on the car.

The big ride, the Jurassic Park River Adventure, was a boat (those yellow round boats which can bump walls and other boats) tour along the river which runs through the (virtual) Jurassic Park. In the beginning you only see herbivores until you hear a warning that the island is subjected to a tropical storm and some flooding has occur. Well, you can imagine what that means. You enter the domain of the carnivores. At first very peaceful, although attacked from all sides by raptors, the ride becomes very rough from here on forth. Spinning in the dark while moving with your both trough the hydroplant. Attacked by a T-Rex one plunges with a big, and I mean big, splash back into saver water. And take it from me that you really can get soaked during this ride, if you happen to be in the wrong seat, like me!

Set of Waterworld

Next, the second show of the park, Waterwold, based on the movie. The area was huge, mostly occupied with a queuing area. The set itself was somewhat smaller but still quite big, and it really resembled the movie. The show was to recreate a part of the movie or so to say a interpretation of a part of the movie. All kind of special effect were used during the show and it was quite amazing to see that a large boat could occupy the total set. Also for this show, like the Jurassic Park ride, a warning was given that one could get soaked. Well I think only during the small entertainment show, before the main show, one could get soaked, as they throw a bucket of water over the audience. During the show no drop of water was spilled.
